winter Berthing
Winter berthing is mainly available in the outer harbour, east of the Weymouth Town Bridge. Often it is likely that compatible vessels are rafted alongside one another, this could consist of other winter berth vessels or visiting vessels and be up to 3 vessels in a raft.
Berths may also be available on our inner harbour marina pontoons but these are dependent on the current occupancy for annual berths and availability is not usually known until around September. These berths have the advantage of providing a greater level of security, better protection from the elements and easier access if you wish to use your vessel during the winter months.
Whilst living on-board is not permitted in either the outer or inner harbour, although occasional overnight stays are acceptable.
