Our dear friend, Nicko
Yesterday, people from far and wide came together to remember our good friend, Nicko, who sadly passed away in February - it was a fitting tribute for such a special man who touched so many lives with his love and positive energy. Nicko joined the Weymouth Harbour team in 2020 as a seasonal berthing officer. Each April he would return with boundless enthusiasm, ready for another season. We will miss his enormous smile and heart of gold. So long, Nicko. Read more...

Remembering Jackie
Yesterday members of the Weymouth Harbour Team both past and present, said goodbye to a valued colleague and dear friend Jackie, who recently lost her battle with cancer. Jackie had worked at the harbour since 2012 looking after the customer facilities as well as assisting with the Town Bridge lifts, so many bertholders, visiting vessels and members of public would’ve no doubt been greeted by her cheery smile.
