Help cut single use plastic in Dorset
14 February 2018
Litter Free Coast & Sea and Dorset Food & Drink are inviting local businesses to stop automatically using single-use plastics in a drive to reduce the amount of unsustainable packaging found on our beaches.
A ‘Plastics Surgery’ is being held at McDonald's, Weymouth on Wednesday 21 February from 3pm - 6pm. All local food and drink businesses are invited to go along and find out more about environment friendly takeaway food and drink packaging and to explore alternative packaging options.
The project is one of several funded by a grant from the government’s Coastal Communities Fund and coordinated by Dorset Coast Forum.
